Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of ScreenForge, the in-browser studio for App Store screenshots, 3D device mockups, and app preview videos. By using ScreenForge, you agree to them.

Effective 15 June 2026

The short version

Use ScreenForge to make great screenshots, and what you create is yours (see the License). Bring only content you have the rights to, don't try to break or resell the service, and remember it is in beta, so things can change. Pro is a simple subscription you can cancel anytime.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using ScreenForge, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you are using ScreenForge on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

ScreenForge is a browser-based studio that lets you compose device mockups, multi-screen screenshot sets, and preview videos, and export them as images and video. Core features are free while ScreenForge is in beta. Some features are available only with a paid Pro subscription. The service runs in your browser, your media is processed locally and is not uploaded to us.

3. Accounts

You can use many features without an account. To upgrade to Pro and to save or load projects, you sign in with your email using a one-time link, there is no password. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure, and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

4. Pro subscriptions & billing

5. Acceptable use

When using ScreenForge, you agree not to:

6. Your content & imported models

You keep all rights to the screenshots, images, videos, text, and 3D models you bring into ScreenForge. Because everything is processed in your browser, you remain in control of that content at all times, we never receive a copy.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to everything you use, including any 3D model you import and any fonts or imagery you incorporate. What you may do with the files you export is described in our License.

7. Intellectual property

ScreenForge, including its software, procedurally generated device models, interface, and brand, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.

Apple, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, MacBook, Google, Android, Pixel, Windows, and other product names are trademarks of their respective owners. ScreenForge is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them. The device shapes in ScreenForge are generic, stylised representations.

8. Beta & disclaimers

ScreenForge is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While in beta especially, it may contain bugs, change, or be temporarily unavailable, and features may be added or removed. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. You are responsible for verifying that anything you export meets the requirements of the stores or platforms you submit it to.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScreenForge and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or €50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using ScreenForge at any time, and cancel a subscription as described above. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

11. Governing law & changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of the Netherlands will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise. We may update these terms from time to time, when we do, we will revise the effective date above, and significant changes will be communicated where reasonable. Continuing to use ScreenForge after a change means you accept the updated terms.
