Privacy Policy

ScreenForge is built privacy-first. The screenshots, images, videos, and 3D models you work with never leave your browser. This page explains exactly what we do and do not collect.

Effective 15 June 2026

The short version

Your creative work stays on your device. All editing, rendering, and exporting happens locally in your browser, so we never receive, store, or even see your screenshots or designs.

The only personal data we hold is what you give us to sign in (your email) and, if you subscribe, your subscription status. We do not run advertising or third-party analytics trackers, and we never sell your data.

1. Who we are

ScreenForge ("ScreenForge", "we", "us") provides an in-browser studio for App Store screenshots, 3D device mockups, and app preview videos at getscreenforge.com. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), ScreenForge is the data controller for the limited personal data described below. You can reach us at support@getscreenforge.com.

2. What we collect (and what we don't)

Your designs never leave your browser

ScreenForge is a client-side application. When you add a screenshot, drop in a video, import a 3D model, or export a finished image, all of that work happens on your own device using your browser's graphics engine. Your media is never uploaded to us and never passes through our servers. We have no copy of your projects and no way to view them.

What we do collect

Account email
If you choose to sign in, you give us your email address. We use it to send you a one-time sign-in link and to associate your account with your subscription. You can use the studio's free features without an account.
Subscription details
If you upgrade to Pro, our payment provider (Stripe) processes the payment. We never see or store your card number. We keep a record linking your email to your Stripe customer ID, plan, status, and renewal date so we can unlock Pro features.
Server logs
Like any website, our host records standard request logs (for example IP address, browser type, and timestamps) to keep the service secure and running. These are not used to profile you or track you across other sites.

What we do not collect

3. How we use it

We use the limited data above only to:

Our legal bases under the GDPR are: performance of our contract with you (to provide the studio and your subscription), and our legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving the service.

4. Who we share it with

We rely on a small number of trusted service providers ("sub-processors") who handle data strictly on our behalf:

ProviderPurposeData involved

StripeSubscription paymentsEmail, payment details, subscription status
ResendSending sign-in emailsEmail address

Each provider has its own privacy and security commitments. See Cloudflare, Stripe, and Resend. Some of these providers operate internationally, including in the United States, under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Cookies & local storage

ScreenForge uses one essential cookie and a handful of browser local-storage entries. We do not use any advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. Your rights

Because we hold so little about you, most requests are simple. Subject to applicable law, including the GDPR, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these, email support@getscreenforge.com from the address on your account.

7. Retention & security

We keep your account and subscription records for as long as your account is active, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and operations. Sign-in links expire after 20 minutes, and your session expires after 30 days. We protect data in transit with TLS and limit access to the people who need it.

8. Changes & contact

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and, for significant changes, do our best to let signed-in users know. Questions, requests, or concerns? Email support@getscreenforge.com.
